Tax Notice
The 2024 Pendleton County Property Taxes will be mailed on September 30, 2024. Property owners who own property in Pendleton County will start receiving their tax bills after this date.
Property tax notices will be in a standard envelope with blue lettering above the taxpayer's address that will read 2024 Pendleton County Tax Statement. Tax bills are not mailed to the mortgage companies, they are only mailed to the property owner.
If you have not received your property tax bill by the October 9th, please contact the Sheriff's Office at 859-654-4511. Property tax bills will also be available after October 6th online through the Sheriff's Office website; under the property tax tab. Here you will be able to print off a copy of your tax bill and receipt.
Methods of payments:
- Checks (preferred method of payment)
- Cash
- Credit/Debit card payment (subject to fees) (NO American Express)
Collections dates for tax payments are as follows:
- Oct. 1 - Nov. 1, 2024 for 2% discount
- Nov. 2 - Dec. 31, 2024 for face amount
- Jan. 1 - Jan. 31, 2025 for 5% penalty
- Feb. 1 - April 15, 2025 a 21% penalty is added.
Please be advised, the Sheriff's Office will be CLOSED on ALL County/State Holidays and adjoining weekends, including Nov. 11th (Veterans Day), Nov. 28th-30th (Thanksgiving), Dec. 24th-25th (Christmas), Dec. 31st - Jan.1st (New Years), and Jan. 20th (Martin Luther King Day).
