Pendleton County does not operate a detention facility and therefore all adult prisoners are transported to the Campbell County Detention Center in Newport, Kentucky. The Sheriff's Office is responsible for transporting all prisoners from 8pm to 5am Monday through Friday. We are also responsible for all weekend hours and out-of-state extradictions.
The Pendleton County Jailer, Tony Gillespie, and his staff are responsible for transports from 5am to 6pm Monday through Friday, all in-state transports and for all court appearances.
