Pendleton County has grown over the last ten years and we have tried to grow with it: however, it is a long and slow process. We feel the office of the Pendleton County Sheriff has made tremendous changes over the last several years. We have increased the number of sworn deputies, streamlined the process of property tax collection, provided a larger office space, hired school resource officers and the use Mobile Data Computers in the police cruisers to allow officers to spend more time on the road instead of being in the office doing reports.
